Although I hate certain shows, sometimes I find myself drawn to them by a purely academic interest in how something so utterly stupid could be produced.

Anyone remember Eureeka's Castle?

The Red Green show is still on PBS some nights, I think mostly weekends. I love that show. If it is on MTV or VH1 or the Family channel it probably sucks nuts. The family channel seems to like to show soap operas every night, and my girlfriend just loves that melodramatic shit.

I am a History channel, Fox and sometimes ABC guy, they usually have okay shows on. I used to watch Law and Order (original and SVU) all the time, but since I don't have TNT or USA anymore I have had to cut down.

The one really good show MTV used to have was Daria....I wonder if the real reason they dropped it is because it started to dawn on some of the fan base that THEY were the stereotypes the show mocked

It'd explain Daria's reason why they dropped the show: To make room for MTV's new show, "Teens talking about sex while having sex." The sad thing is, I could see them doing that now.

I didn't really watch TV until I got down to Rolla. But I so have my favorite TV shows.

I should've added Fresh Prince to my list of shows I love.

And The O.C. isn't the epitome of a MTV drama. Laguna Beach came out after The O.C. and it's supposed to be 'real'. The O.C. is obviously staged and they don't try to play it off as real life. So it's really just the epitome of every other soap opera on Fox...just with a better plot and hotter characters.
