I acquired my music collection before "tagging" was popular. So, now all of my songs are untagged, which is a major headache trying to find a particular song on my ipod. What is the best way to tag 3000+ songs? Is there a program out there that will speed things up, or should I redownload them all instead?

Back in the day when I used MusicMatch, I think it had a parser that would take the artist and song name from the file names /folder, and put it into the tag. Could be something to check out if you music is named consistently (you could specify how it is named) and/or sorted
I have used one called TagScanner for some time. It just creates the tag based on the filename [with parameters you set up], and any additional information you give it. I can send you a zip or something if you need it, its pretty small.

Tag&Rename is amazing. I tagged my 5000-6000 songs in about half a week. It's somewhat tedious, but I think any way you do it will be tedious, and this program reduces the tediousness. It's only a free-trial type of deal though, so that sucks.

The word "bi-partisan" usually means some larger-than-usual deception is being carried out.
