if i were to fail english 20 (for not having done the majority of the course work out of laziness, not retardation) could i take a CLEP test and not have the F/D (whatever i get) F*** up my gpa (ie have the CLEP test replace my bad grade with a credit exemption) or do i have to just repeat the course next semester to replace the bad grade?

Not sure but I took the CLEP test this fall for it and I can tell you it's extremely easy. The CLEP doesn't count as a grade, so no GPA for it. I don't have an answer for your question though.

If you're so lazy that you fail out of a class (and English 20, at that), then you're retarded regardless.

The word "bi-partisan" usually means some larger-than-usual deception is being carried out.

I was going to say the same thing. I've never done well in English classes because I'm horrible at writing papers and get lazy and don't read the literature they assign. Yet, English 20 was my first A in an English class since middle school. How the hell does one fail it?
skipping the last 7 weeks of class and not writing 2 of the papers or doing any of those stupid miscelaneous assignments. TBH on the 2 papers i did "write" (and by write i mean BS at 4 in the morning the day before they were due) i got As. But i didn't even crack open the last two books we read. So its a little harder to bs on them.

English 20 with Knight was the easiest class imaginable.

So you skipped 50% of the 16 week semester? I'm assuming you missed at least a couple days in the first 9 weeks to make it that full 50%.
I don't want to sound like an asshole, but you are averging 100 post per month here, surely you could have spent some of your time writing your papers instead. I would really recommend getting good study habbits now because harder classes are going to kick your ass.[/i]
oh i study for other classes. actually i got 4As and a B (dern macroecon), English is just my kryptonite... and i know im a post whore but im not the only one.
