Are gravel roads okay? I know of shit ton gravel/mud roads. Some are steep but nothing intense. Most are far away. 45min to 1hr away but along the way are some neat roads that go to hidden ponds/lakes or fuck knows where.

Do the gravel roads lead to something at the top of the hill past the range or do they just dead end? If anybody ever wants to head out there with me sometime just pm me or something and we can go.
it just tapers and ends. back there is where MDC market off hunting areas for disabled people.
as you go in to the shooting range there's a split at a big open field that has a couple (what can be good) mud holes. When it forks, go to your left and follow that road all the way back. You'll find some pretty decent stuff back there. There are also a couple more roads that fork and criss-cross but in a fullsize you need to take some of them pretty darn slow if you're scared of body damage.
As for the place across from the shooting range with the smokey sign, if you go left there's nothing but to the right there's some decent play if it's recently been raining. Alot of sand, so it can get soft in a hurry.
There's also behind Rolla recycling. Don't know if it's actually legal to wheel back there but i've done it a couple times. If you pay attention it's alot of fun, but if you don't it's real easy to get stuck real bad (high-centering on the ruts)
I used to do alot of wheeling around here, but it started to get too expensive for me. I used to budget $100 for everytime i went out to take into account gas, food, drinks, and any breakage.

down 63 13miles past kmart road 6020
Don't take your alcoholic girlfriend's car down there and crash it when she needs to drive 1500 miles home.

I was going south on 63 today on my way to the shooting range when I saw a road on the right about 10 or 11 miles south of walmart across from PVT6121. There is only one sign that says "No dumping" if you go to the right there are some pretty decent ruts. The trail goes for a while to the right and a little way to the left. If you have a full size truck I would stay just on the part where the ruts are other wise the trees will scratch your truck or at least they will rub branches.
