100 Acre Wood, its that time again

I just got an e-mail for 100 Acre Wood. This year it is being held Feburary 23rd and 24th. They are always in need of volunteers and generally get a bunch from UMR.

for those of you who may not know what this is, it is a Rally race as part of the RallyAmerica circuit, run every year through steelville and salem (and neighboring towns).

hopefully some of us will get together and hold a meeting like previous years to go over the training that they would give without having to drive to st.louis or salem.

check it out and we will try and coordinate something

EDIT: Almost forgot the best part, after the end there is a free banquet (free food and BEER) where you can mingle with other volunteers and the drivers.

Yeah, I got the e-mail from Curt as well. I will be in contact with him. He will probably be sending me some literature and poster to put up around campus and Rolla to hype the event. I might also be holding the meeting like I did last year. Hopefully I can get some more info than last year so the meeting can be more productive. I will try to get him to give me maps to the spectator points, and schedules on service areas and such so that people can really see the cars up close.
