They do make good motors. With proper tunning they can be very powerful. The S2000 engine, H and B series engines are very tuner friendly.

Foofoodar, your civic should have vtec. It's a standard thing on the new civics no matter what model.

Yeah, one of my goals in the near future is to swap a H22a into my non-VTEC Prelude. Probably going to have to wait until after I graduate though.

What is up with all the "riced" out cars in rolla.
its not just cavaqueers, its civics and neons. i just dont get it especially the civics. put that money into performance and you will have a quick ride instead of a retarded looking one. just my opinion of course.

i personally like stock looks of just about every car out there. if i knew nothing about cars then i would research performance stuff and figure it out before i would even think about body kits or fucking underglow.

I don't know what the deal was, it surprised the hell out of me too... My jeep also beat a 2000 celica gt-S (VVTL-i) in about the same distance...those v-8 all wheel drive grand cherokees have quite a bit of low end speed to them...295 torque

Ok tuning is cool but I'm a muscle car kinda guy. Tuning a cavaqueer isn't cool. Tuning a Stealth or 3000gt is. Get it yet ?

Rice- in my opinion rice is primer all over your car because you'll buy the body kit and not the paint. Having a a rice wing(that isn't rated for speeds under 120) on an untuned/no turbo 4 cylinder . Racing an untuned/no turbo 4 cylinder. But tuning is an art just like muscle cars neither one is harder than the other. If you want to rice out your car go buy a NOS sticker and some stick on vents with a primer grey busted body kit so i can take a picture and put it here. http://www.laughatrice.com

V8's are the thing for me but gas is outrageous so for a commuting college kid without a damn dime 4 cylinders are awesome. just don't rice them.

I define rice as "show before go", meaning all kinds of body kits and external additions that make it look like a high output car from Fast 'n Furious, but w/o the underhood engine and drivetrain work that actually gives it the power increase. Thats what most of the cars in the area are, all bark and no bite. A fart tip, wheels, and window tint arent going to make a car go faster, just make it more loud and obnixious.

As far as the honda's go, when done properly they can put down some power. Look at Napoleon's car for proof. 400+ HP with a well tuned turbo setup. I hope his car isnt the honda thats being referred to as being beaten by a Jeep because i'd just have to see it to believe it.

It annoys me to one extent to see and hear the riced out cars, but its a whole 'nother level of bothersome when i see the townies and their trucks tearing ass through the intersection across from my house.

v8s are inefficient... forced induction rules the streets...

for every 15 psi of boost, your base displacement doubles...so my little 3.0 v6 runs like a 6.0 all while getting 26 hwy miles/gal.
