I'm working with my dad to restore my 1963 Chrysler Newport. It's been in storage since the original owner died after driving 2000 miles. We have been considering doing a blog, documenting the entire progress with pictures, video, etc.

Do you guys think anyone would be interested in reading something like that?

Some pictures of what we started with:

Wow, SOMEBODY didn't appreciate 45 years of storage.

If for no other reason, you must do this to hear that V-8 sing. If you blog it, I'll read it now and then.

Besides, that back seat MUST be put to good use. ;)

I have a digital camera, and so does my dad - at whose house this car resides, 100 miles away. We may forget the video cam, but we'll always have a digital camera (not to mention my phone has a decent camera as well).

We may also ask for advice. For instance, we can't figure out how to get the rear wheels off to fix the brakes (which is the first task).

It requires a special tool to remove the rear wheels to get to the brakes. They sure didn't want anybody to DIY back then. Still trying to locate the wheel puller, and we're basically at an impasse until then.
