Does anyone know of a place in town that does Car Inspections, but will pretty much pass any car?

Don't go to Zane's - they wouldn't pass me because my cv axles were clicking I think (it was something trivial that they wanted money for) - took it to a place back home and had no troubles what so ever.

Also, I had a bad experience with John's Firestone - I had them replace my power steering belt, and in the process they broke my cruise control module. I took it back in when I noticed it, and they denied it and told me I must have done it.

Wow, I've never had trouble with Firestone. In fact, they are the only ones in Rolla I'd trust at the moment. However, there are still several places I haven't visited. I'd like to keep it that way, since typically visits cost lots of money and a vehicle for a couple of days.

Actually, I was going to say that Zane's has always been good to me. First time, I had a cracked signal light, they told me it would be cheaper to go to a junkyard, then I did and brought it back. Last time, the tread on one tire was a bit thin, so I swapped it with the rear tire (front tires get worn more from turning, braking, etc.) and they said that was fine even though technically it may not have been okay.

I already knew not to take it to Zane's. My clutch went out last year, they told me it EXPLODED! (bullshit I would not have been able to drive it there) and wanted like 800 bucks to fix it. Called the A&G Transmission in town they did it for like 400 bucks.

Im just trying to find a place that will pass my car, I have a slight exhaust leak, and no money to fix it.

I would go to denny ford, I have had them do most of the work on my cars and they are decently priced, and they passed an old beater explorer that sounded like the exhaust was falling off of it- has to replace wiper blades and windshield- but they didnt care about the exhaust.

How about Plaza Tire across from Lowes? Plaza back home inspected my car no problem.
