manual transmission ftmfw. heel-toe down shifts, clutch-kick to initiate a slide, engine braking, power shifting...they all hold so much win and cannot possibly be done with any other transmission.

mmm, my mind is drifting off into thoughts of a dog-box sequential 6-speed...

That rule doesn't apply during the summer when so few people are posting new stuff.

Holy Crap! 44 Pounds of boost? I didn't know that was even possible for tiny engines.

it is very possible if you have a fully built sleeved/billet block and 110+ octane gas, although almost nothing but the craziest drag cars run that high

plenty of rally cars, especially hill climb vehicles are 800+hp from 2L engines

But they don't expect or care if the engine last longer than a couple runs...

I say automatic, but only because I'm awful at driving stick.
Of course, it doesn't help that the car I learned to drive stick on had a torn up old clutch that only worked about half the time.

My car's an '88 Accord, and it's automatic, but it's very predictable with its shifting, so I can force it to shift higher or lower as I need it to.
