Papa Johns is the tastiest, and it's definitely worth the price. You have to get your pepperoni under the cheese, they're like little flavor landmines.

Can 15 years of imaginary training be put to use? It can't.
I'm a fan of the all meat pizza at Alex's pizza. I haven't tried Imo's yet, unfortunately.
As far as price goes, the Seek42 special at Domino's gets you a large one topping pizza for $5. It's a pretty damn good deal.
When did it go back to $5? It was originally $5, but then for awhile I thought they changed it to like $6 for a large and $5 for a medium. Either way, I'm not a big fan of Domino's. Just curious.

Just ask for Seek42 special. FWIW there is an ad for it on the seek42 front page...

Yes, thanks. Been around long enough to know about the Seek 42 Special.
I was just asking when it went back to $5, because it started at $5 back in the day, and then was raised to $6.

I love Deep Dish Pizza, so I can't say anything has ever come close to the experience I had when I ate at Beau Joe's near Boulder, CO. From what I understand, they are a chain local only to central Colorado, but I wish they would expand. I love their pizza. IMO, the more bread, the better. As such, STL style can ESAD.

Wait, Papa John's large 1-topping for $6? Is this a standard price or a deal of some sort? I was not aware of this...
As for the topic. I've had Domino's, Pizza Hut, Papa John's, and Alex's. Alex's is decently good, but nothing special. It's a bit overpriced considering what you get.
The Seek special makes Domino's a reasonable option, the one I usually go with. It's pretty good pizza, not my favorite.
Pizza Hut is probably my favorite, I've always been a fan of their crust and whatnot, and as a previous poster said the Rolla pizza scene is pretty great.
Papa John's being $6 for a large is a deal-breaker for Domino's though. One dollar more for much more pizza, and (in my opinion) better pizza? Sounds good.

Years ago they had the "Seekant Special" (who remembers Seekant? heh. heh.) where you could get a large for like $5.55 carryout, or around $6 delivered. I don't think they honor that anymore, but I'm pretty sure they still have just a regular "student special" that will get you a large for about $6. Even if you're not a student you can do their "carryout special" for about the same price, or at least you used to be able to. Been trying to eat healthy lately, so it's been awhile since I've ordered from there. All of this talk about pizza though...
If price doesn't matter, then I'd say drive to Chicago and pick up a pizza from Gino's East or Giordano's. Best. Pizza. Ever. One piece is almost all it takes to fill a person up.
But if price does matter give me the 5 dollar ready made little caesers with the garlic parmesan crust.

Alex's is the best, hands down.
In terms of price, if you look online for a coupon code to Papa Johns, you can usually get a large 3-topping (I always get the whole wheat crust) for $5 if you order online with the coupon code. I like beef, peppers, and onions.
