The answer to both clues is Phoenix, and the phoenix is a bird that dies, burns to ashes, and rises again from the ashes. Therefore, seek42 is going to die a horrible burning death and rise again as something better? Amirite?

Or maybe it just has something to do with a name of a certain piece of software...
