McMaster doesn't have enough selection for me. I need some steel coil compression springs.

I need one spring:

OD: 0.4 inches (minimum hole diameter .42)
wire t: 0.035 inches
coils/in: ~6
Length: 3.9 inches (longer springs can be cut down)

And the other spring:

OD: 0.3 inches (max OD .35 and max rod diameter 0.225 inches)
wire t: 0.03 inches
coils/in: ~7
Length: 3.5 inches (longer can be cut down)

I can find one fairly close to the second spring at McMaster, but that's 8 coils/in and the solid length may be too long.

I have NO idea if they have them or not; but have you tried the parts bins at Lowe's?

My dad was fixing the air pump that came with his older porche and we ended up going to a place that sold and fixed power tools. Not sure where one around here is but they would have a ton of different springs.

I did not check if they have specifically what you need, but I use this hardware company for hard to find stuff.

Thanks for the suggestions.

I actually found what I needed, of all the places I could have looked, in my Glock. So I just ordered a replacement recoil spring for it, and I can use that :?

TNP: Aren't you using this spring to build that gun you're working on?

So a gun helping a gun is kinda cyclical and doesn't make sense.
