considering vagina and rectum share a wall, and the ovary sits on top uterus, which is on top of vagina.. and to be constipated you've probably got a decent amount of shit in your rectum, backing up into your colon...

basically I'm pretty sure the pain could be coming from the same few cubic centimeters..

Regardless the best (local) option would probably been to see the gynecologist @ student health. ER's aren't going to be great at diagnosing complicated problems. It's kinda like going to McDonalds for a steak, sure they serve beef, but just because it's beef doesn't mean it's steak.

That's Dr. Blitzvergnugen, MD. He knows shit.

the only problem i've ever had with student death is that they arent open 24hrs. i had to go to the emergency room for a crazy, debilitating headache at 3am because student death wasnt open. that cost me around $500 since i couldnt go there first.

on the other hand, when i got pinkeye during st. pats in 08 they got me a prescription very quickly.

Oh, what the hell. Why not.
Just throwing this out there. Yes, re-revival, but worth it.

The change that happened to student death was that Dr. Goodman had been one of the three...ish docs that normally came in the afternoons a few years ago (back when it was still a horrible joke) and he hated what was going on. So he basically took over. Now he's the main doctor aside from still working at the hospital and volunteering time doing other such things. He also fixed up the nurse situation (no more morons that think a guy is pregnant or tell you to drink soda for energy when you have a high fever and can barely hold anything down), and has been honestly doing a damn good job lately.
He was the only one that I would see back then, but now most of the staff is pretty reliable and helpful.
The death part is really just to scare freshman now. Though I gotta say, I've met more juniors and seniors lately that haven't ever gone because they were legitimately afraid than not.

And now you know.

My first visit was my Junior year here (this past year) and they were competent. I never went to student health before that (but that's because everybody told me not to), but I'd agree that they are reasonably competent now. I've never heard that they were so stupid as to think a guy is pregnant or anything, but I'd still believe it if someone went in and they totally misdiagnosed something easy [for a doctor/nurse to diagnose].
