I have a Digital TV with the built-in tuner, and I only have fidelity's internet package. I have heard that you can still get the basic digital channels even without the cable subscription. If this is true, Fidelity's website claims these channels are in the 400 range. I can't seem to convince my TV to check channels that high, any ideas? It is a Sharp 32" LC32SB21U 720p LCD HDTV.
Am I even in the right ballpark?

Nevermind. According to page 29 of the manual located here, the internal cable tuning decoder can only handle unscrambled cable TV channels numbered 1-135. Channels numbered higher require a digital receiver box programmed to decipher channels broadcast to those higher ranges.
To whoever is watching those Basic digital channels, what numbers are you tuning to and what equipment are you using?
