not to mention the emotional damages resultant from the realization that some stranger has entered your home: no amount of 800D's can pay that price.

I got specs posted. As for pics of the my compy's guts... that may come later. The unfortuante situation of my room causes computer to sit against a wall, meaning I have to shut down and unplug to be able to pull it out. I'll put an old shot w/ my old hardware, only diff is mobo, proc, and ram.

It's a 939 socket, but it's going to replace my fiance's aging dell laptop.

I paid ~$200 for about 4 years ago. Still a pretty good deal then.

Sounds like my first LCD. A 19"...sumtin...that I got from PC Mall about 5 years ago, before I knew how much I hate them. It was suppose to be $190, but the $100 rebate never made it and they wouldn't even answer their phones at the time.
Not to mention that in under 3 years, the thing started having interference lines show up in a pattern from right to left. Barely usable from a distance. I think I traded it for a 2-liter of coke.

Hmm.. It's definitely a budget monitor, but it's a top notch budget monitor. I paid full price for it because it was pretty new to the market (<6months old).. It's dropped in price because it hit the perfect price/size/performance and they made massive quantities. Not because it was a bad product.

And before some douchebag says something about the speakers, can't set them up in 5.1, and they will be gone soon anyway.
