Any1 been to these before? Worthwhile? "Missouri S&T Surplus Garage sale Missouri S&T is holding a surplus garage sale May 13 from 10 AM - 2 PM at Warehouse B, located at 300 Fairground Road in Rolla. Offered are chairs, computers, desk, file cabinets, power cords, tables, and so much more. Yes. Sometime's they're good. You know all the stuff that's in there has been in surplus less than a year, so if you want a cheap brick of a computer, they're often not bad. Just don't expect any smoking deals on the computers, last year they were 35, 40 bucks. Much of what they have are going to be old tables and chairs and things like that. Occasionally they'll stick some old lab equipment over there that's often good enough to salvage out some pumps or exotic electronics. I couldn't tell from the ad if they're doing the whole thing auction style or just on the leftovers. |
