I have been taking a Math 21 equivalent course at a community college this summer, and was wondering if anyone knows if its fine to have Math 14, 21, 22 combo for a comp e degree and comp sci. Because math 15 says for engineers and math 21 doesnt.
I've found the engineering degrees usually like to have their students take the ** for Engineers courses (even if they're the watered down version, like the calc courses), but if you take the other ones they'll usually let you do the substitutions. I say usually because some advisors are too anal, but if that's the case just get someone else to sign off on it.

Yeah most advisors are pretty cool about the for eng stuff. Except Price, but that's my own special beef shared by the rest of the campus. I seriously pitty you if you have Price.
Price is the freshmen advisor for the CS program. All CS freshmen get him and are reassigned after their freshmen year. I don't know what you did to piss him off, but he's fine as long as you don't try to bullshit him or waste his time.

Price was a pretty good advisor, though I'm glad I never had him for any classes (cs001 doesn't count).
As for the Calc class differences I know the For Engineers class automatically went on my CAPS reports without any problems. (ie: Math 14 took the place of the Math 8 requirement.) I would imagine that yours would work the same way, but it would still be a good idea to talk to your advisor about it.
