Hey...
Has anybody here taken Met 125? I'm curious as to what book you all used last year. I'd just go to the bookstore and find out but they only offer the class in the spring.
We used the freshman chemistry book, and "The Production and Processing of Inorganic Materians" by James W. Evans and Lutgard C. De Jonghe was purchased through the Met department. It was $50, and it should be available through TMS also.

Who do you have? O'Keefe required us to get the Mineral Processing book, but we never really had any assignments in it, although he asked questions from it on some of the tests. The Freshmen Chem book from last year will most likely be used since the Freshmen one now has just been implemented. O'Keefe is really cool and it is a very worthwhile class, FYI.

It was, IMO. There are next to nobody in there and O'Keefe curves like a son of a gun. I got a 83% in the class, which was 2% higher than the cutoff for an A.
