Isn't Al Gore the hypocrite who used a private jet and other polluting extravagancies while preaching about global warming?

Well, if the "guy who inspects cars" owned the competing car company, and you can easily find publicly available data showing that the seat belts significantly reduced injury and fatality in that model of car, and the majority of the data purporting to show that the seat belts in that model are unsafe was shown to not only be falsified, but also to come from someone with a known agenda against that model of car, and the false seat belt data was accepted by a global conglomeration of car manufacturers who could not collect royalties from the sale of said car...

I'm glad nobody thus far has tried to pin this on some sort of crazy liberal conspiracy or something. I can assure you, that man's ideas accurately represent the opinions of an incredibly small segment of the population.

As for the big climate change thing, to me it seems logical that our toxic air wastes are probably damaging something or another, but probably not as fast as some people think.

Is CO2 toxic? Is water vapor?

Even if toxic air wastes dont contribute at all to climate change, which may or may not exist, isnt curbing pollution still a good thing? even if all gore is totally wrong and off his rocker about global warming, his initiatives will still decrease the amount of damage we do to the environment. If someone thinks that pollution is a good thing, speak up now.

Pollution is OBVIOUSLY bad (if you buy into WIKI's def) but there seems to be some argument about how harmful CO2 actually is....

If CO2 was that bad... and all the oil we're burning came from plants, which converted the CO2 out of the air into their biomass... then that means that at some time in the past, before all those trees grew, there was MORE CO2 than there is now. Which means we are actually living in a CO2-depleted era. We need to restore balance to the planet, by burning all the oil and fossil fuels we can find. Only that can restore the tropical paradise we see in all the dinosaur movies to this planet.

my goal in life is to TRULY restore the earth to what it was before humans intervened (when they walked with dinosaurs, of course, i mean - the earth IS only like 10000 years old). So i am going to destroy all that exists and let God recreate Genesis (if he wants, of course) [/whatever combination of idiot far Left&Right groups i was mocking]

heh. i'm just bored.
