This has been thrown around for a while. It will be interesting to see what comes out of committee. I personally thing that the RIAA and MPAA will collapse in the next 5 years or so. Artists are finally realizing they no longer need the help of large companies to publish their work. The RIAA is also getting into some hot water by pocketing all the money from settlements.
