Short form: Kid and his friends stole his dad's credit card, and bought a hotel room and hookers. Guess what they did?

What kind of credit card has over a $30,000 limit?

..and where can I get one?

Well i have to say - they either got very lucky running into some very stupid people (at the credit card agency, the hotel, the escort agency), or these boys are some pretty smart 13 year olds. I guess it could be a combination - daddy's probably a big lawyer so they've learned the legal keywords to make people do what they want without thinking twice. (honestly - how many 13 year olds do you know that could sound convincingly knowledgeable about diablility law. now i doubt that the hookers were the brightest bulbs, but they fooled a number of people...

also of note:
where were the parents?
why didn't the cc company notice some very strange charges?

and 30k credit limit is not a lot for some people. it just seems like a lot because we're all poor college students >.<

Check out the fatwallet finance forums - They do things called app-o-ramas where they build up over $100,000 in 0% 12 month credit, then withdraw it all via balance transfers and put it into high yield savings accounts for the 12 months, then pay it off in full and keep the profits. A little too much trickery for my tastes - but quite profitable before interest rates took a shit.

My parents have one of those, then they have another for smaller purchases. So I always refer to the larger one as the one for "purchasing small countries"
