This piece, though long, does a good job of summarizing the four stances Americans have about the United States and its position as the only superpower right now. The author continues to suggest his answer to the question, "What is the United States to do with the rest of the world?" I found this article incredibly interesting. The author is very clear and has a good grasp of 20th century history. Everyone on seek does not agree with this guy, so if you read it, post your objections to his position or his description of the argument.
