In trying to find the date of a friend of mine's birthday, I rolled my clock forward to see what day it landed on (in 2006). I then, quite accidently, hit the Up button instead of the down, and changed it to 2007 instead of '05. Then, this morning, after a weekly restart, StyleXP popped up saying that the registration check failed because the clock had been rolled back. So, fuckberries, I uninstall and try to reinstall, and get the same problem when I try to register. Is there someway, save system recovery, that I can make my computer believe that it's actually the correct date and I didn't roll it back to sometime in the past?
And before you suggest the Windows auto-check on the clock, it can't hit those time servers while on campus for one reason or another.
[EDIT] It ate all my pervious recover points, so I can't do a system recovery to fix it. Le sigh, looks as if no one has any simple fixes, will get to spend my day doing a blasted format/reinstall
