I've been moving some files onto an external hard drive, but there are a few where it refuses to move because it says there is insufficent space. The thing is, there is plenty of space. If I break the files up into smaller chunks, they move just fine. Much larger files also have no problem, it seems to be confined to a certain size range. I've tried error-checking, defragmenting, scanning, etc on the external, but I can't figure out how to fix it. The only thing that's different between the two is that one is NTFS and the other is FAT32. Any ideas or suggestions?

If that's the case I really am a dumbass. I thought I had files larger than that, but I guess that was the total size and I'll have to check when I get home. Thanks.

Depending on the programing writing the file, the limit can be as low as 2GB per single file with FAT32.
