Any idea how to get rid of it? It is a virus even though its name sounds otherwise.

Other than that, try booting into Safe Mode and using tools such as:

ComboFix
Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
Spybot
Lavasoft's Adaware
Your favorite A/V
