What are you looking for and what size are you wanting? Are you looking for a serious-assed road bike or something like a Trek 5000?

Or mebbe a Trek 7000....

Not interested in something that's gonna get jacked off the rack, but need to keep up with my GF as I'm getting smoked on the mountain bike I have now that's too small.

No idea how to fit a bike.

height= 6'2

I prefer the look of the 5000 over the 7000(hybrid?), i think.

Yeah, the 7000 is a hybrid. I have one, but it doesn't seem to be what you're looking for...but it is a great riding bike, tires are like new, trek underseat bag, rear rack...

Stand over the bar in front of the seat with both feet on the ground. Make sure you won't rack yourself.
