This is a small form factor PC. Its got pretty good power, and should have no problems handling any kind of school work. Its integrated graphics card will limit to light gaming only. Would be great for a dorm due to its size. Right now it needs a new power supply, which needs to be a proprietary dell one so it fits in the case. I can either sell as is, or you buy it, and I get a new power supply for it.

This is a very small computer with a very nice looking case. When I lived in TJ North it fit very nicely between the top and bottom shelf. Its a bit old, but can still hold its own. It will handle any and all school work and moderate gaming. For reference it runs Half Life 2 pretty well. The back speaker port is broken, so it has a soundblaster card installed (which is better anyway)

I wasn't planning on it originally, but I could throw in a 21" CRT for free, but you would need to wait 2-3 weeks before I would have time to pick it up from my parents house.
