To all Super Smash Bros. Melee players out there, you're invited to join me and other smash players for some friendly competition. Since late last semester, I've been setting up smash on a regular basis in the north lounge just to play anybody that has some free time. Players of all skill levels are welcome to play, although most good players have no mercy (myself included). I have 4 controllers and you're more than welcome to use one of mine but, I recommend you bring your own if you have one (3 of my controllers suck, and I use the good one). There are usually at least 4 people including myself at one time there so we rotate first-out. I don't want a lot of replies whining about this, but most people that come to play like 5-stock Final Destination fights w/ items off. But if at least 3 of the fighters want items or a different map, they can have it. Also one-on-one matches do happen, and I've been known to win most . Consider this a friendly challenge. I can usually be found in the TJ North lounge (in front of the big TV) on Thursdays and Fridays in the afternoon.

Anywho, it would be nice to add a few levels to the random selection. Final destination is getting quite boring...

We can switch it up if you really want, but I think you'll find that losing over and over again is boring on any level, Bono. Ha! Yeah, I know, cheap shot.

Anyway, I think it sounds like fun. I'll make some time for it on Friday. I expect to lose at least once, Jay. Don't disappoint!

I can always use more practice with Capt. Falcon. I'm always surprised by the small number of people who use him.

and you HAVE to have weapons! 99% of my skill is in weapons. not just getting the hammer and getting lucky, but knocking someone across the edge with the beam sword, and then throwing it so that it knocks them further from the platform so they can't reach with only like 40% damage!

There are only 3 people here that I've met that can consitantly beat me in melee. They all live on 6S, and Jay's not one of them (although he beats me slightly more often than I him).

This is just to clarify when you'll most likely be able find me and others playing smash. Before, I said in the afternoon on Thursdays and Fridays then I realized that's kind of vague. Plus since this is the first time I've announced these matches I'll give you some definite times that I'll be there. I get out of my last class at 3:00 on Thursday then I head straight back to TJ and set up smash in the north lounge (if nobody's using the TV when I get there). Being a patient person, if somebody else is using the TV when I get there I'll simply wait until they're finished. I have Fridays off so I set up whenever I crawl out of bed. Which is usually around 12:00, but for this week I'll set up at 11:30. I can't give any definite time on when I'll be packing up, but I'll be there for at least 3 hours after I set up and I leave when everyone else gets tired of playing (usually around 6:00). I hope to see a lot of people show up.
