The miner is trying to do better. If you have a problem with it, the join the paper. It can't get any better without writers and other workers.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Don't just bitch about things you don't like. If you want change, then you need to get involved.

Why are people on these forums so pissy?

I was not bitching about the quality of The Miner. I am looking forward to the changes in the newspaper, and I hope Bret Brown does a good job with it. But this thread was started by someone from The Miner (or at least on The Miner's behalf) and they are claiming that writing for a newspaper is an "easy job." If you treat it that way, of course you're going to get crappy articles and a crappy newspaper.

I disagree. Personally I don't give a crap about how well the paper does, but I still write well because it's a paying job.
