My computer is finially functioning nearly flawlessly, and i have about 80% of my HD space free for me to fill up with .mp3's and other stuff. I think i could spare 4 gigs of HD space for.mp3's, which @4.00mb each would give me 1,000 mp3.s, haha.

Anyway, i'm looking for some general suggestions of stuff to DL and lisetn too. I don't have a whole lot of intake of new music so i'm not really exposed to any good stuff anymore.

I'm more of a newer rock/metal person, upbeat punk rock is cool (stuff like thrice, yellowcard, something corporate, blink 182 ect), metal which is more singing then yelling (godsmack, old metallica, disturbed, musroomhead, mudvayne, ect). Good classic rock is also cool. Even some decent rap would be good.

So...feel free to spout off some decent stuff to lisetn to that i can easily get off of Seek.

i've got some good music on \\hdnsbitch (\\131.151.188.4)

It's down right now....but it'll be back up after I can get back to my room and unfucktify it.

Must grabs off of it though.....cake, common rider, dropkick murphys, finch, incubus, led zeppelin, lost prophets, lucky boys confusion (old album's filenames are lucky boys....i'm just too lazy to correct someboy elses mistake), muse, pixies, radiohead, smashing pumpkins, soundgarden, the clash, the faint, toadies, weezer, zebrahead

it'll be up definitely by about dinner time tonight....I'm doing some stuff with the os...and adding some more music

I recommend Fear Factory, Lostprophets, Dying Fetus (if you like really hard music).

I personally like finding Music directories and then leeching the hell off them.

I've found the best way to learn new music is to find internet radio stations and listen to them. Most of the good ones have a way that they display the song title....either through the title of the stream or on their website.

....but yeah....music directries are a good source. I personally like ripping my music though...I'd say a god 80% of mine actually ripped.

Haha, Dying Fetus. I'm not sure if that qualifies under "metal with more singing than yelling". Some good shit though. I got plenty of hardcore and "metalcore" if anyone wants to look. Just ask.
