Anyone know which car wash in town is the best? Automatic or coin-op.

The Mobile Station across from TJ has free carwashes (usually $10) every Monday after the Rams win. You just have to go inside and make a purchase (stick of gum, whatever), and they give you a voucher.

From what I hear, the wash is pretty good.

Theres a brushless lust N of walmart that does pretty well, ive used it a couple times, since i got out of the dorms ive just done it @ my house

It's every monday at the Mobil. Good luck getting your car washed there. The line is long every monday and i never end up waiting. It takes like 5+ minutes for the deluxe wash and Im not going to wait 30 min in line. I rather do it at home.

Most car washes in town give about the same amount of time for your money.

Perhaps if you show up at 4:00 am on Monday, the line wouldn't be so bad.

Ive gone to the self car wash in front of K-Mart to wash some mud off and it does a pretty decent job. Good amount of time for the money and they have alot of water pressure.

You can get your car washed any day at Mobil with the code they give you. It's just that you can't get the free code any day but Monday. I got my code Monday this week and used it Tuesday. Apparently NO ONE else knows that. I was the only person at the car wash

There is no reason to wash your car in Rolla. As soon as you do, it's grey, rainy and cold for 5 days straight. Don't let the random sunny 55-degree days fool you. Your quarters are much better spent in the Hardees drive through at 2:30 in the morning.

Anyway, out by K-Mart there's a coin-op that does pretty decent.

If your trip home takes you north on 63, stop in Freeburg and use the car wash there. It's a coin-op, and it's 50 cents for all the time you want.

Yeah, I've only used it once. The ticket they give you gets you the most expensive of the 3 automatic washes available - the $10 one. Not really a bad deal if you buy a candy bar or something for less than a dollar.

I heard someone saying that they don't want to "hit" nos cause they don't want to damage the engine. I just laughed and told them it's like "hitting" a hooker...you don't know what might happen in the end.

If you do it right then you have nothing to worry about
