It really depends on what you do. I have both my 24's on their side now. But I also have a TV so I no longer watch video or anything on my PC. And the vertical is highly superior for web browsing and word processing.

I've made a few changes to the internals since that last picture was taken. But here are the specs:

Intel I7 860 @ 3.5 GHz
ASUS Maximus III Gene Micro-ATX
8 GB OCZ DDR3-1600
HIS Radeon HD 5970 (currently the fan sounds like a rusty wheel so I have to replace it.)
3.6 TB of storage
Blu-ray drive

Deckard, how sex is that keyboard? I use that one at work and I f'n love it. Wish it had extra "G" keys like the G15 so I could play LOTRO. lulz.

Is that a Special Edition Fallout 3 lunchbox? Nice choice.

Thank you, it's my money pit. I keep adding/changing stuff on it.

In fact, as I stated earlier my fan on my 5970 was about to die so I replaced it with an aftermarket cooler. A lot of people have been apparently killing their cards by tightening the screws on it too much so I was kind of nervous during the installation but it lowered my idle temps by about 30 degrees C and is really quiet.

Here's a few pictures I took for nerding.

The keyboard is pretty sex, but I actually just replaced it with a G110. The ability to plug in my headset and have windows auto switch to that output is pretty awesome. As well as being able to turn off the windows key while I'm in a game is cool too. I always end up hitting it some how. The lights just make it legit I guess, I have them off most of the time.

Yes it is. I kind of blindly bought that game and I'm glad I got the special edition because I loved it. I did almost everything there was to do. I've also got a copy of new vegas preordered as well.

Just picked up the new Corsair 600t case and H50 integrated watercooling unit. It's a good case. A bit pricier than other midtowers but worth it. It's built solidly and has plenty of holes to route the cables through.

What's the point of cable routing inside the box if you don't do any outside the box?

Too lazy to do both and outside cabling can't have a negative impact on cooling.
