If not, well... the last couple of albums haven't had too much anti-Jesus rhetoric on them (not counting APC), so maybe they'll still record. Regardless, we just gotta wait for more info...

I laugh in the general direction of Tool fans everywhere... not that I don't like Tool (or Tool fans), it's just that I find this ridiculously ironic.

I just cant see how MJK can drop everything he believes in, and turn to religion like this.

Background: From what i've heard, MJK grew up in a baptist home, and was beaten by his stepfather, also MJK was enrolled in West Point, but later dropped out, while at west point, they had a common term "tool" they used to refer to people who blindly followed the rules, reguardless of the reasoning behind them.

I feel that due to MJK's childhood expierences, it would be safe to assume that he connected his stepfather's actions to christianity as an act of being a "tool", hell just listen to the track Disgustipated off of the Undertow CD, he openly mocks preachers with his alias "Reverend Maynard". So I just really cant see how Maynard has "found Jesus" without openly calling himself a "tool"

Given his music, it seems unlikley, but Head, the guitarist of Korn, found jesus and is now preaching to save 50 Cent's soul from going to hell. Not like Korn is openly anti-religion or anything, but this is a band that has a song that goes "y'all want a single say fuck that. fuck that fuck that" over and over.

What would be so bad if it were? It would be awfully hard to see eye to eye with any kind of religion whose only ambassador was a man full of abuse and hate, but maybe love broke through. He's probably been needing to deal with the pain caused by his stepfather his whole life, and now maybe he has. Maybe there's been forgiveness and healing. It's disgustingly selfish to be mad that a man got well just because you liked him better when he was sick. Can't you just forget about the music for a moment and start feeling better for him as a person? This is when he needs your support the most, so stop being so hateful. Be joyful, because that's what he's needed all along.

Yes, but as April Fools gets further and further behind us, and Manyard hasn't come out and said "April Fools!" I wonder if it is in fact real

Maybe he now thinks that what he was believing was wrong. And I don't remember hearing anything about "Maynard has found Catholicism." Religion and faith are not interchangeable.
