Did anyone watch any of this series? I was wondering if it's any good. I am considering buying it but I would like to know if it's worth it before I drop like 80 bucks on it.

Great, great series. Watch before you drop $80 though. Torrent reactor has most, if not all of the episodes.

I read the book when I was, like, 12, and going through a Jules Verne phase. Some good astronomy, some atrocious physics, some humorous writing. He was the Crichton of his day, with perhaps a little more enduring appeal, and he even tricks you into having to read the sequel to find out if they made it back or not.

I liked it...its worth "renting" at least. Whatever that word means to you.
