I was wondering if there is a concert alert web site for missouri and the surounding area. There Was One back home but its a little far to drive to the left coast for a show.

it depends quite a bit on what you're looking for and where in the area you want to go.
If you're looking for metal, i recommend heavy frequency. they have a pretty good calendar, as well as lots of band and venue links, but they also tend to list more shows in KC than elsewhere because they are KC based.
If you're looking for major bands/tours, try ticketmaster.com, because thats how most major bands coming through this area tend to sell tickets/announce shows.
