So whilst aimlessly wandering in search of new music I stumble onto some article about a "feud" between GC's Benji and Kelly Clarkson. Seeing such a supposed odd pair in a feud, I was tempted to read on. Apparently Clarkson made some joke about Hilary Duff, who is now Benji's g/f, who just turned 18 apparently, while Benji is apparently 8 years older (sorry about getting off track, just thought it odd that a 26 year old was dating a 17 year old). Well, long story short, benji felt the need to get some respect for his newly aged woman, and called kelly clarkson a hack or something, which man isn't that the pot calling the kettle black. We have a former punk, now pop sellout with his barely of age pop g/f in a battle of words over the legitimacy of pop kelly clarkson. GC, you now officially in every respect, suck. And a sidenote, Green Day, you'd better watch yourself, because you too are well on your way there.

I had to think who GC was at first. Then I realized it, and no, they don't have any credibility left. They haven't for quite a while.

If some 26 year old dude tried to get in my daughter's pants, I'd have to give him the Chokie Roberts.

They never had credibility.. btw i had to think for like 5 minutes before i got that gc was good charolte or however its spelled for those of you who are still not informed.

they've been pop rock from the start. like green day has become now.

some of you may recall on their previous album.. they said something along the lines of, we're sorry if our music wasn't as punk as you remembered it, we're getting older and more mature and so is our music. and they all looked rather more mature in all their videos, then this album comes out, and suddenly they are dressed like an 18 year old punk band would dress, suddenly their music is very different. They, my friends, are pop rock. the worst crap this side of music. They probably switched producers and got some new guys handling their imaging. Just when they were ok with not making money, the pop rock cult showed them a new way.

The first time I really laughed at good charlotte is when I saw them play for a crowd before a super bowl... I'm still laughing about it!

Good Charlotte used to be nu-metal. Then they were discovered, given a wad of money, and promptly told to change their image/music to pop-punk so to appeal to 15 year old girls. As we can see, they have obliged.

And Green Day was never punk.

I find that hard to believe. I'm 100% positive Good Charlotte was always complete horseshit, them and the rest of the bad-fake-punk-rock-trash.

oh, and they look like morons.

No, they definitely changed their style of music drastically. That doesn't mean they used to be good though....they've always blown ass.
