Okay, so I know I can perform derivatives and integrals with the wonder that is my TI89........anyone know if there's a way for this thing to do differential equations?
I haven't found a way to make it do partials, but you can solve it down to matrix form and have it solve that step to partially help you is the best I can get it to do.

You can solve up to 2nd order I believe. F3 for Calc Menu, go to the last entry which is deSolve(). I don't remember the order of the parameters, but that's the function that does it.
Yeah, I played around with it for a while and it came back to me. The format is deSolve(equation, independent variable, dependent variable). You use the apostrophe (shift-equal) to indicate "prime," and can use up to second order. Here's an example: deSolve(y''-y'-3=0,t,y).
The calculator will spit out the answer, with @X representing the integration constant, X being a random number.
