hrm...i'm taking music theory 1 for mine, and theory 2 as my upper level humanity. Of course I know it pretty well, so hopefully I can test out of the first one for credit and start at theory 2. I dunno, just find something that seems interesting to you.

Art 80 is a great stand-by, but probably filled up by now.

I have to recommend Physics 107 with Dr. Story. Intro to Modern Physics. You go over relativity, lasers and a bit of quantum physics. It's awesome.

On my CAPS report, Marksmanship didn't count for anything, not even free elective.

Philosophy 15 (Intro to Logic).
Hist/Poly Sci 316 with Dr. Meagher (The American Presidency)

If you're going to be here next fall, I'd say take Min309- Commerical Pyrotechnics. Its an easy three hours, you get to blow stuff up, and there arent really any prereqs.
But, I don't know if it counts as a free elective or not, although I do know that it counts as a technical elective for mining.

I think Bio 135 is Evolution....a very cool class that is easy and you get to learn about how genetics can hinder or excel a population versus another population. Dr Frank is a great prof as well. I strongly recommend.

For EE's Physics 107 can only be a subsitute for EE 225 photonics.

Yes a free elective has to be 3 hours.

Mining 309
and
Bio 135

Is the only recommendations? Damn not to many fun courses is there?

Thank you folks,

Min/MechE 306: Waterjets with Dr. Summers. A pretty fun class in my opinion. Get to cut out your own artwork with the cnc waterjet machine at the research center on kingshighway.

Met 308: Casting with Von richards. Another good one, i'm a cmpe but i enjoyed the class as it taught metallurgy and we got to cast our own designs in bronze and aluminum, and also did a cast iron design project for a railroad car suspension assembly.
