Has anyone had this guy before? I have him for ME279, and from ratemyprofessor.com, he has a TERRIBLE reputation, I didnt see even one halfway decent review of him, but they were mostly for ME211, not 279. However, 279 is a continuation of 211, so Im thinking he will probably be just as bad.
Just looking for some feedback on him, to know what to expect, if anyone has taken his classes. Ive discovered reatemyprofessor is usually pretty accurate from my experience, and I rate all my professors, be it good or bad, but so far, Ive never had someone with as bad of ratings as he has, and I havent had the class long enough to know yet, so just looking for some heads up on him.

im in 279 with stutts right now also. from everyone i know in the ME department, he is a horrible teacher, and from the 3 lectures so far i agree

He lectured a few times for my 279 class last semester and I had him for 242-it doesn't get any better. He's probably one of the rudest teachers I've ever had. He's the only 279 option this semester though isn't he?

I have a few friends taking controls(?) with him. I hear they're having some tough times as well.


...But, on the plus side I've always found him to be a great guy to go biking with.

he talks about how he isnt going to show up to our study session once it warms up cause he will be too busy biking.
