I was in the class you speak of. I am adult student. If that had happened to me I would have immediatly dropped the class (and will). Im sorry but these profs work for me! I pay their wages. They seem to forget that. |

If you go up, talk to him in person, and show that you actually give a shit, he's actually a pretty nice guy. No shit he has to put on a fucking asshole face when he teaches, there are hundreds of kids in his class and he has to keep them all under control with one of the most difficult classes of your first couple years. |

Bienik's a dick, but if you pay attention and work at the class... you'll actually learn something and have a grudging respect for the guy. Physics 23 is one of the big make or break classes of Rolla. So it needs to be tough and the prof needs to be a dick. He almost ran over me when he was speeding around campus, and yelled at me for being in his way...while I was in a crosswalk. After talking to him about an issue in his class, yes he was respectful. |

yes I understand the class is big and full of "kids" But I am ADULT student..... have been bullied in basic training and on the job in the past when I was young and naive abt such things. Bullying has no place in teaching plain and simple. The greatest teacher of all time was Jesus and he never pushed his weight around. There are LOTS of Universities and schools out there. They are a BUSINESS .... never forget that! They work for YOU! The idea that "tenuring" allows one to be an ass and never get fired is exactly why the USA is in the shape its in and flawed. |
