Anyone else living near the EE building and using Fidelity cable get horrible latency?

Either the local hub has too many people on it, or someone's doing... a whole lot of something, or both. I had great service during the summer and over the Christmas break, but now that schools back, my service has nose dived.

Anyway, it sucks major ass.

Down here at the end of Schuman by the train tracks, our internet has been quite slow of late also.

I too have experienced the shittea latency since coming back from break. Granted, it was never that great, but now its just ridiculous.

I contacted them about it sometime in the fall. To their credit, they did send out someone to check the wires. Of course, he didn't check anything beyond seeing that yes, my connection was working.

I put all the pieces together during the break when my latency was cut by a factor of three... damn rural monopoly.

Anyway, yea, someone go make trouble for the man, or something. Maybe ease up on the porn. Whatever helps me out.
