I have Sirius in my car. I'm getting sick of the same old MP3s on my computer to I want to get a home kit for my tuner. This is probably a long shot, but has anyone ever had any luck getting a satellite radio reception inside TJ? The best I can do is place the antenna right by the window and hope it picks something up.

I know a girl up on 9 that has XM. She has the antenna outside on the ledge. She gets perfect reception.

Hmm, really? I just stuck the antenna between the window and the screen and got jack for reception. I might have to try it on the ledge. The problem with Sirius is, in the midwest, the antenna needs to face north and my window faces south.

From my experience, TJ is a giant electromagnetic sponge. I could never get any reception inside. Satellites always use frequencies that require line of sight so perhaps that will affect things differently.

Yeah, I had no luck. I put the antenna on the ledge, and reception would drop in and out as the satellites moved.

I'd probably be fine with XM, because their satellites are stationary above the equator and my window faces south, but I have Sirius, like Sirius, and want to listen to Howard Stern.
