No lives, so you can play from start to finish, but the whole game is a blast. Each castle level (the levels are structures like the original Mario [i.e. 1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 1-4, 2-1, etc.]) features a unique boss, and it's a blast to defeat each one. The game is rather polished, as well. Fun stuff. Play through until 8-4, you won't regret it. Oh, and heads up, you can hit blocks and enemies, but you can't hit barriers or things enemies throw. Level 6-4 is a bitch.
The bosses alone make it worth it. They're just varied and represent a lot of memorable Mario characters. Plus, I think the guy that made it was 14. Holy crap.
Uhh, does that require a fancy plugin or something? I'm getting nada. Or, nicht, for those Spanish deficient.
But then, I shouldn't say anything, because I'll be pounded for being German deficient. However, we all know how useless German is.
Nifty looking game from what I've seen, by the way. Did you have to start over at your house or did it give you a password or something? I'm impressed that it progresses through the worlds (from what you said); then again, I like uncomplicated flashy games. Like Kitty Cannon.
