This would be a separate subforum for people who want to get together to play games offline, such as frisbee, football, paintball, etc. Probably also a place to discuss IM sports and whatnot. I think it would also be a good place to discuss where to fish or camp, what are good bike trails, etc. That way we don't clutter up the UMR forum with that stuff and things like "get together this weekend for XXX sport, roll call!"

I mean, we already have a forum for movies, video games, and other things. Might as well discuss some activities that would get us out and about and exercised.

This would of course be dependent on interest in the subforum and obviously on approval from the mods/admin.

Topics like that hardly ever show up in the main forum. I doubt a new forum would get a whole lot of use. A "Was that a sonic boom?" forum would probably see more posts. heh.

Yes, there are enough discussions (IMO) to warrant a new forum. To those who say it won't get used, we still have Rides and Academics forums because, even though they're not used too much, they serve a very useful and specific purpose.

If there's enough interest (i.e. 15-20 some-odd people vote yes) then I'll glady make another sub forum. This is probably one of the few forum suggestions that actually makes sense.

modifing the description of the Gaming forum might be more useful... Gaming doesn't see too much use anyways...

I would also like to see a sports/rercreation forum because I wouldnt mind having some Cardinals/Rams discussions and I don't feel right starting a new topic in the UMR forum.
