So I've heard some stories about the Chinese food out here, and was wondering what restuarant is a must visit and which one I should avoid.

Fortune Inn (next to Denny's) is a must visit, if only for the sheer volume of food you get in a takeout order, as well as the good taste.

I always went to Mandarin Garden my freshman year after trying every other Chinese restaurant besides Lucky House, which most said to avoid. Well, over the summer, I ended up trying Lucky House, AND IT'S INCREDIBLE. Their Cashew chicken is spectacular. Their fried rice leaves something to be desired, but everything else is top notch. Highly recommended.

EDIT: English no worky.

Fortune Inn for value, Mandarin for quality

Fortune Inn. If you go durring lunch before 2, you can get huge amount of food for less than 3 or 4 bucks. Not only is it a large amount, but its really good, no one I've ever brought there didn't really like it.

Try them all at least once, then get your own opinion. That way you know which one you like, and you also get to have something to do around town for a week.

Fortune Inn is great and cheap. I personally love the chinese drive thru up on Kings Highway (can't remember what the name is). I've found that Chinese food tastes much better after being passed through a window.

Go to St. Robert and buy some authentic asian food ingredients and cook for yourself.

Well, I've lived in the area for like 10 years now, and by far the best place is Mandarin Garden. It has continually served good service, and I highly support them.

on an off note, the best chinese restaurant ive ever been to is the fuckin huge buffet in Tulsa, OK. the buffet table area were about as big as half of the book store, at the minimum.

I don't know, Kyoto's is pretty good for Chinese. Yes, they have a Chinese menu, it is not in the actual menu, but on the little plastic thing on the table. I got Kung Pao Chicken last time, and it was AWESOME!. A little hot, but that is how I like it. And $5.50 for a lunch with soup and two egg rolls is not bad. They have 5 other chinese dishes under $6, I believe. I am sure Fortune Inn is good, but I have only eaten there once. Plus, Kyoto's is only a short walk from any class you have on campus. I love my sushi, and their lunch boxes are plentiful, great, and not too expensive for the amount of food they have.

I've been there once... my hometown is 50 miles from Tulsa

And yes Mandarin Garden is best... I've been to Fortune Inn once, and when I went, their General's chicken sucked bad... I'll never go back.
