i've heard she's got some places close to campus, but i've not heard about the quality of the places or how she is as a landlady. does anyone have any experience with her?

My landlady is Nassreen Rome, so I think it's safe to say that's who you mean. Anyway, I've lived in the house I currently live in for going on two years. It's been okay.

The house I live in is alright, but not great. There have been some issues with it, such as the bathroom in the basement flooding on more than one occasion. (And we're not just talking a clogged toilet, here. I can take care of my own clogged toilets.) It was dealt with pretty quickly both times, but the cleanup wasn't spectacular. There was also a hole in the ceiling in the same bathroom when we moved in. I called to ask to have it fixed and we now have a styrofoam ceiling in that bathroom. So yeah, any fixes you need are probably going to be pretty cheap.

She's also pretty annoying to talk to on the phone, but you'll hardly ever talk to her as long as you don't have any problems, so it's not that big of a deal.

Overall, it's hard for me to say how she compares to other landlords since she's the only one I've had. She's tolerable enough. That's about all I can say.

yea I would avoid if possible.
I rented a room from her once, the ceiling cracked and wasps came in. And she constantly bitched at me. I have investment now, and its not much better
