Can anyone else who has T-Mobile and an EDGE capable phone check and see if they're getting EDGE coverage for data? My Blackberry has always had EDGE in Rolla, but today I noticed that now it's on the GPRS network which means slower data transfer speeds. Before I call T-Mobile and see what's going on, I just wanted to see if anyone else is having trouble or if something's wrong with my phone. Thanks.

I'm more than happy with T-Mobile ;)

The EDGE outage isn't a huge deal, and I can still browse the internet (at slower speeds), and of course, I can still make phone calls. Whereas with other companies and their crap networks, my phone's just a paperweight.

Oddly enough, i tried to make a call this morning on my phone (not one of those fancy smart phones or anything) and it said forbidden or something. I turned off and on my phone and it worked. This is on the T-Mobile network. I dont know if its at all related but i figured it was worth mentioning.

I reset my phone to no avail, I'm going to call customer service right now and see whats up.

For anyone else who cares...T-Mobile said they'll have a tech out here within a couple days to look at the towers and see what the deal is.
