Remember, Easter is a religious holiday.....
What is wrong with Easter being a religious holiday? Jesus died and rose again for our sins. I think that is something that should be celebrated. Afterall not too many people have given their lives for mine ever.
I was thinking about it on the way home from doing some homework on campus, but seeing how many people were already out looking at 8:30, and how many were waiting in Havener to start looking, I decided I might be able to make better use of my time... which apparently consists of posting a message on Seek. I guess that works out somehow.

They were putting eggs out for quite a while. I saw some people doing it about 10:15-10:30 so no telling how long they were at it.
My fiance and I found a bunch, and got several candy bars.... and just when I am trying to watch what I eat so that when I work out, I can actually tell....

Ah, so they continued to hide eggs as it was going on? How'd that work out? I figured all the hiding had been done ahead of time. Or are you saying that they spent so long hiding all the eggs that people were still finding them hours later? Either way, I guess I'll know better for next time!

I am pretty sure (several other people thought so also) and it would be pretty simple to do it, since almost everyone walking around after 9:30 had several eggs in a bag. Just wait until no one is paying attention, and drop some here and there. I saw atleast two groups of people that I was convinced were setting them out.
If someone who actually knows anything wants to speak up, that would be great. Everything I am saying is speculation/observation...

SUB had something like 12,000 eggs for this, and in order to give people who showed up late a chance, and to keep people out looking, they were putting out eggs with just candy in them all night.
Also, someone found the egg for the Wii, but not the PSP, Gameboy Advance, and one other electronic device that I couldn't tell what it was. So you have until April 20th to find the last few eggs and claim a prize.

Weren't they all put in plain sight (nothing had to be moved to see them [ie not under rocks/leaves ect])?

I found the 4GB iPod Nano up a drainpipe. I had to press my face into the mud to see it, shining my flashlight up the drainpipe. Even then, I was only able to see a tiny sliver of duct tape. When I pulled it out, there was a purple egg nearly completely covered in duct tape. Inside was a yellow piece of paper that said "Congratulations, you've won prize 3."

I had assumed that the tickets for the big prizes would be randomly distributed with all the other eggs, not hidden in super hard to find places (I heard things about eggs wrapped in duct tape and hidden 10+ feet off the ground?).
So I wasted all my time looking for easily visible eggs on the ground all I got was a 6 pound bag of candy.

If you go to Fulton Hall and look real close, you should be able to see where I threw a bike rack into one of the 10ft deep holes on the side of the building.
I did this for the chance at 4 inaccessible eggs that were at the bottom of the hole/bricked up window, which only had candy in them.
Screw it, next year I'm just going to start searching at 8 like everyone else.
