Ron Paul is a libertarian leaning Republican candidate for President that has a strong background of non-interventionism and is a proponent of a very small government. He has developed the persona of "Dr. No" in Congress because he votes against any measure that will increase the size of government, be it through increases in taxes or otherwise. If you have any specific questions, I would be happy to answer them. Otherwise, your best bet is Wikipedia or ronpaul2008.com.

Right now, it's Obama, but that's subject to change as the campaign continues on.....

Hmmm... A 10 term Congressman with an impeccable record of defending what he believes in or a still-in-his-first-term Senator without enough experience to demonstrate (yet) his capabilities on the national stage. In about 12-18 years, Obama will be a fine candidate if you believe in his message. But he's absolutely too inexperienced to lead the country right now.

I like the message of a smaller government. One that is large enough to guarantee my rights as a citizen of this country but not one that pours trillions of dollars in maintaining troops in countries we shouldn't be in (blowback's a bitch) and stays in useless debating bodies like the UN or even entertains the ridiculous idea of creating something like the NAU. Countries are smart enough to talk to each other without lessening their independence as nations.

Experience != Abilities. Dubya had plenty of experience in politics, and look how that asshole turned out.

He had plenty of experience in failing at life too. He did manage to succeed in getting two countries to go to war with each other, I guess that could make up for some failure because that's pretty badass. Seriously, who can ever say they were the start of a war on a global level?

I'm still voting for Colbert.

Ron Paul has my vote.

P.S. Obama is white and his real name is Barry. What a poser.

Obama is down with coal and the coal industry. Thats enough to eliminate him for me. I prefer Dr. Paul's private property rights environmental policy and the fact that I dont have to worry about him being bought by any certain industry to retard environmental technologies. Politician's like Obama are the reason gas mileage haven't increased in forever and the reason crap like corn ethanol exists. A politician that can and is bought is no longer acceptable when we finally have the option to pick the last Free man in politics.

The IOWA Ron Paul 2008 Walk for Ron Paul will be held the 1st, three Saturday's in December. Remember Ron must have IOWA and he needs our help.
The first walk will be to drop Ron Paul campaign information door to door in Des Moines. Thusday Dec. 1st from 9am to 3 pm. Buses will pick up voluntees at the Des Moines Ron Paul headquarters and take them to the nieghborhoods to pass out information.
The campaign will break at 3 pm to allow Missouri volunteers time to watch the Missouri Football Game. The Iowa headquarters has asked for our help personally. They need to get 200 volunteers to canvas the area.
Ron Paul needs our help in Iowa! Iowa is a must to push him ahead of the Republican pack! The Iowa meetups are not as organized as we ar! e. I spoke with Ron a few nights ago and he was worried about Iowa.
Join me in Des Moines and lets bring Iowa home for Ron!! The Monday after the walk I would like the walkers to join me on my radio show at 8pm - 9pm by calling through Call in line (888) 747-1968 and telling everyone what they have accoplished for Ron. You can listen live online or check your area for where to find us on your dial.
Money for Ron is great but good old fashion walking and talking gets VOTES!
Rep. Jim Guest

Not big on football but thats pretty cool
