Pretty sure the Greek parties will run by standard greek party rules/times: 11-3, 21 to carry, no glass, and you have to be on the greek guest list. Since its St. Pats, these are probably going to be more strongly enforced than normal.

I'm not looking to get in to any of them; I'm coming up with an events list/map for the St. Pat's issue of the Miner and I don't want to leave anything out.

Speaking as someone who has worked the door at numerous Greek parties (including 3 of the 4 St. Pat's parties by my fraternity that I've been here for), please do one of the following: 1. Do not include the list of Greek parties (it is not fun to have to turn away people who are not on the Greek guest list who think that they will be able to get in to the party) 2. Include the Greek rules emphasizing the guest list only part.

nothing really of a party, but there are some good houses on 11th st. that will be porching it weather permitting. Feel free to stop by
We'll either have a fire or be blasting music out of the basement if we have anything going on. If there's a fire going bring your own hot dogs/marshmallows/bacon to cook over it. It'll be a good time like it was last year.

As has been said for years now...do not include the greek parties in the Miner. Those who can get into the parties should know about them...do not go advertising them to people that can't get in.

Any other large parties, tend to be mostly 'underground' so it is best to not publish them in the paper. No need to give someone a reason to break your party up.
Here's a crazy idea: Walk up to any St. Pats rep and ask them. Maybe get some use out of their sales table.

Pardon me for trying to find an answer to a question in a manner that is convenient to me. But seriously, what the hell is the point of a message board if you're only allowed to ask questions that cannot be answered elsewhere?
If the Miner ever fires me, I can't wait to show hostility at any mention of it on online message boards.
